Finca Valpiedra is one of the most unique vineyards in Rioja. Property of the Martinez-Bujanda attached to the vine and wine since 1889, and located in Fuenmayor, within the subzone of Rioja Alta, is the source of one of the projects more clearly conceived originally as a vineyard, a winery and wine.

Finca Valpiedra In a medium sized winery that produces up to 300,000 bottles per year, the Martinez Bujanda lead to the letter that its only wine, now with a younger brother, is made exclusively with grapes from the property, thus following the dictates of classical châteaux of Bordeaux. It is the way to ensure total control of all production, benefit from the close proximity between vineyard and winery and offer the consumer a wine with character and capable of reflecting the peculiar climatic conditions of each vintage.

Founded in 1999, much in the style of the family to stay ahead of the times and quickly finish off their projects, is made an impressive investment. The vinification and aging facilities are very big and spacious and equipped with the latest technology. Its area of vineyards allows, after going through a rigorous selection of varieties, to produce a high-end red in a relatively large amount, along with a second wine, the Cantos. That is, it has sought to make a very limited production wine top, but has raised the challenge to combine quality and availability.
