In 1947 Fermin Ayuso Roig decided to found his own winery, chosen as the site Villarrobledo ideal, then, few places get so many qualities for grape growing. Its climate and soil make this area a unique cradle of great wines.
From the beginning, Fermin Ayuso worried about getting healthy grapes and harvested with great care and, in turn, classified according to their variety and quality. Until the present, have been incorporating more refined techniques of processing and storage of wine, while the artisan tradition and love that leads its development and aging. Thus in 1961 began selling bottled wine in the provinces of Albacete and Jaen. The basement of one of the ships are fitted out to an underground cellar with oak barrels, Bordeaux type, the first wine cellar in the region. Place, where the wine settles in the dark, in the absence of noise at constant temperature and humidity, resulting in a delicious broth.

With the harvest of 1965, it began marketing the brand Stole, first reserve wine from La Mancha. The curiosity and acceptance were such that in 1973 the cellar was visited by the Vatican's Apostolic Nuncio by recording in a barrel that even today can be seen. Manuel Vazquez Montalban was drinking Stole the protagonists of his novel "The Rose of Alexandria." Also Stole attended the inauguration of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, chaired by HM King Juan Carlos I.
Throughout its history, these wineries have pursued, to improve their facilities and expertise, to meet the needs of most demanding customers.
